Summer genealogy sessions

Throughout July and August 2016 we will once again be holding weekly drop-in sessions for anyone tracing their local family history.  Come along to the Salmon Bothy between 2pm and 4pm on Fridays from 8th July until 26th August for advice from our genealogy expert, Gene Genie Scotland.  We make no charge for this service, but donations to the Salmon Bothy are always welcome!

Family history advice

Do you have an ancestral connection to the north-east of Scotland?  Would you like expert advice on how to go about researching your roots in this area?  Then come along to Portsoy Salmon Bothy, where our local genealogy professional will be on hand to provide guidance.

Sessions run each Friday throughout July and August from 2pm to 4pm.  No need to book - just drop in to the wee bothy.

This service is offered in conjunction with Gene Genie Scotland
